1 long beep and 2 short in the POST, nothing with GPU.

Hi. I built a new rig, and I had problems. I have a post on here before about no POST beep, but then I realized that I needed a speaker lol. However it my computer powered up and after about 20 seconds it did 1 long beep and two short ones. I checked and that's video card error.

so I replaced my GPU and got a new one, but this time it beeps the one long and two short and when I put the GPU in there are no beeps when I turned it on. I also switched around the one stick of RAM and switched the GPU around two PCI-E slots.

Any ideas? my specs:

CPU: AMD Athlon X4 860K Quad-Core 3.7 GHz Socket FM2+ 95W

Mobo: MSI A88XM-E45 V2 FM2+ AMD A88X

HDD: Western Digital Red NAS Hard Drive WD20EFRX 2TB IntelliPower 64MB

PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 B1 750W Modular Power Supply

SSD: Crucial BX100 120GB SATA 2.5 Inch Internal Solid State Drive

Case: NZXT Source 210 S210-001 Black “Aluminum Brush / Plastic” ATX Mid Tower

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX750TI Graphics Card, GDDR5 128-Bit, 2GB

RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3
12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-1600C9S-8GXM

I have tried two cards, when I put the first one in it continued to do the video card error message, while with this one, it does not even beep when I put it in.
Unfortunately I dont have another build to test it in

I just tried breadboarding it. When I put the GPU on, but I did not plug in the external power connector, it beeped 1 long 2 short. But when I plugged in the power cable from the gpu to the PSU it did not beep.

You have to have the power connector attached. Thats why its beeping when its not plugged in. However, if the computer still don't boot up with the video card in and power connector attached then its either a bad video card or something is up with the motherboard. Please build it outside of the case to make sure there are no shorts anywhere.
