1000 dollars to upgrade my rig, what would you do?

The one in my signature, would probably crossfire 2 4850's, any other possibilities or suggestions?

Thinking quadcore, will need a new PSU.

I am selling an amp I don't ever use anymore, if anyone is curious, you could speed up the upgrade, not even certain if I'll spend all of it, I probably shouldn't, lol..

I have read though that ddr3 RAM is finicky with 32 bit OS, so I may skip the RAM for now or perhaps upgrade to 64 bit...

Maybe I'll just buy a 4870x2 and call it good? Hah.

To be honest, if you don't need to upgrade just yet I would maybe wait till the end of the year or early 2009 when they announce all the new stuff and the price drops hit, or just buy the newer stuff. You are close enough to the technology replacement cusp where they roll out new product.

Or

Just build one now

Put your money in savings

i agree,save your money and wait if you realy want a new rig.

i personaly think its a bad time to buy new pc parts now because if the I7 comming out soon.
