So I just got the new Mobo, RAM and HDD/SSD's seen in my sig set up today, but i'm having some issue geting Windows 7 64 to install to them the way I want. I set up the two HDDs in a RAID 0 setup, left the SSD alone (the idea is to have my OS and all drivers on the SSD and put all my games and software on the HDD's) and did the install. Problem was, once i got into Windows the 100MB "System Reserved" partition was on the RAID 0 array, which kinda defeats what i'm trying to do with having all the OS components on the SSD.
I disconnected the HDDs so that W7 would have no choice but to install everything to the SSD and ran setup again. This time W& setup said i couldn't install to that drive. WTF?
I had to leave after that and plan to tinker with it some more when i get home, but is there anyone here that is familiar with this issue that can tell me how to fix it and save me some time?
