120 c!! on ati X850

hello
i bought an ATI Pro 850 g.card ,3 years ago. all this time, the temp was ok at rest, but 3 months ago my fan stopped working. when i saw it i change it to simple fan with intercooler that supports my card. but then, the temp is too high at rest and it gets to 120 C in effort
what should i do?

the temp goes from 65 to 120 in 10 seconds whene i run 3D test
are you sure the problem is with the fan? cos i don't wanna spend unnecessary money on this...
 
if its hot its the fan. you said yourself it stopped working. get a new fan NOW or burn out your video card, which will be much more than a new fan if you're worried about money.
 
120C is waayy pushing it. Replace the cooler, I've used the Arctic Cooling. Using it right now, actually. It is well worth the money, I think.
