Any ideas/problems lemme know.
Anything that should be changed or edited to get more power out of the rig let me know.

I have about $1200.00 to spend on this PC and the goal is to get as close to high settings on Crysis which looks like its going to be the best game of 2007 FPS wise.

Now I hear the prices will drop some in July so I will be making my rig then to save a bit on money and it will be 3 weeks before I have funds to buy all the parts as well.

Also I hear the CPU stock heat sink sucks should I look into another? If so what is a good one to use?

I plan to gut the dvd drive out of my current system since its new and hardly been used.
I got a Vista Home and I have windows xp pro as well.

Also input devices? USB ports you mean?

Also I have monitor speakers G11 keyboard mouse.

How big is the monitor you have? A better question, do you plan to be gaming at high resolutions? If you aren't, you won't really see much of a performance upgrade with the 640 8800gts. I would save some money and go with the 320 version. Some might argue that the extra memory will help you with dx10 games, but frankly, when those come out I wouldn't want an 8800gts anyway. I'd like something that could handle them at top settings. I guess we'll see when they come out though.
 
Well I have a 19inch LCD and I go as high as I can with resolution.

So you think for the moment I should wait on a rig till more dx10 cards come out and there is a middle ground again?
