Hey guys. I posted a few months ago with a similar build, but ive run into some trouble with the funds and other stuff in between, but now I'm back, and this time with assurance that I can get the parts soon. This is built to be a mid-range gaming build that will last me for a while, as I work up the funds for a bigger upgrade (read: Until I reach the age for a good job, I'm only 13 QQ). It won't be an amazing rig, but it will hold its own for a bit, and I can always upgrade the grfx card via evga's program. Anyways,
THE LIST
Monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009108
From what I've heard, its a solid monitor, especially for the price.
Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16811129021
Another that was recommended to me, just not sure about the wattage of the fans, though I doubt its a problem. And it glows. (read: OMFG GIMME TEH GLOWY LITE-BRITE LOLZ)
CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16819115016
A nice upgrade over the 6400, especially for the small price difference, and my needs aren't extreme enough for a quad-core
Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16813128012
Recommended to me, so its all your fault guys
Memory: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145034
Wewt, memory. Its whats for dinner. Looks like solid timings and such for the money (Yay rebates)
Graphic Card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16814130082
One of the cheaper DX10 Cards for future proofing, and its powerful enough for my need
PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139001
Once again, recommended by a LOT of people, but im not sure if I should bump the wattage for further future-proofing.
I left out the dvd drive and hard drive, because they're pretty self-explanitory.
Any suggestions you guys can give are great!
