that would be an amazing setup + it will be future prof for many years as the mobo has 2 x16 pci-e slots, room for another hd 4870

i would overclock the cpu to around 3ghz and your machine will run anything you throw at it

correct post, just didn't realise the page numbers at the bottom ( i am new and used to a post being on 1 page)

the build was $1423 including a monitor, i thought your budjet was $1500

I have him a build made.

Coleman - 65nm processors are old news..might be a good CPU to overclock, but I got him a Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16 that he will most likely be able to get to 4ghz.
