$1500 build, rate/comment/suggest?

its the best and has been proven multiple times, when I built my rig it wasn't out, and I'm watercooling in the next week or so. I know people with them, and they are definitely the best hsf. The true comes in second, and the v8 and xiggy come in 5-8c higher temps.

hmm.... it's within my budget so I'll think about it. I really, really have to be able to convince my dad though.

Do you have any links on how to set up a RAID0?

I would get two 500 gigabyte hard drives. I have two hard drives in my system. One is my master hard drive and the other I backup all my valuable data on. It is a great way to easily back your data up.

I would also get an external hard drive though just in case. Never hurts having three copies of information you value.

Edit: I also wouldn't do a Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID) 0 set up. If one of your hard drives goes in a RAID 0 set up all your data is corrupted.
