150mbps Cable Internet?

I heard Comcast introduced 150mbps cable modem in may, is that true? Thats like.... 18 Megabyte per sec? wow...

If they introduced a 150Mb/s modem, that doesnt mean the connection would be that fast. I doubt residents would get that though, if it's even true it's probably extremely expensive.

Hey, why not?? There are routers capable of handling nearly 4 Gb/s and an OC-192 line can transmit info @ 9.13 Gb/sec. Yahoo, for example, has at least a dozen Gb lines running to and from their servers that cost them about $250,000/month each.
A 150mb line costs about $20,000/month last I heard
