19" Widescreen resolution help

Well I recently purchased Xbox 360 VGA Cables so I can play on my monitor, and came to find out 1440x900 (native for my monitor) isn't one of the options. So, I came here to figure out which would be the best.

640x4380
848x480
1024x768
1280x720
1280x768
1280x1024
1360x768
1920x1080

Those are my options.

Go for either 1920x1080 or 1280x1024

your monitor is widescreen. The xbox doesnt support widescreen VGA. Use 1024x768 or 1280x1024. You may get borders.

1920x1080 isn't supported on my monitor. Like I said, native is 1440x900.

Am using 1280x1024.

The 360 should support 1440x900. That's what my friends used when he played his 360 on his 17" widescreen.

Plus Microsoft came out with updates for the firmware so it should support more resolutions.

1024x768 looks better than 1280x1024 on a 19" Widescreen I have noticed.

depends on what the monitors native resolution is.

My LCD can go really high , but it looks overly sharp (sore head) at higher than 1280x1024 and looks too grainy at 1024x768, whereas my other LCD runs perfevtly ay 1024x768 and doesnt like 1280x1024 at all
