1G 3870x2 duel core in crossfire

can i get 2 of the 1G 3870x2 duel cores thats 2 3870s on 1 chip can i buy 2 of them cards an put them in a crossfire config

Quad Crossfire drivers will be available in March, I believe. So, yes, you can do that.

wouldent this only count as normal crossfire cos there is only 2 slots being used.
oh an a question my motherboard says PCI-E2.0 im guesing that for cards like the 1G 3870x2 duel core an the 9800GX2?

It's Quad Crossfire because you're technically using four GPU's. PCI-E 2.0 compatible cards include the Radeon 3XXX series, 8800GT, 8800GTS (G92), 8800GS, and a few others, I'm sure. If the 9800GX2 is released, it will support that spec as well.

i'm not sure if that's obvious because no current computer can max out on crysis. it's harder than you think...

Yeah, I know. I couldn't do it with Ultras in SLi. I would get around 15-20 Fps. Not really playable. Anyway, the question was obvious because we're all waiting for a GPU that can handle this game on very high settings. :)
