1st time builder--need help with choosing components

So, totally new to building computers, and not completely familiar with the language. But! I'm a fast learner. I need help choosing components...my budget is $800 max. My needs are fairly simple: I am not a gamer, but I want a computer that can store 10K + songs, 12K + photos, lots of Word documents, play DVDs...mainly I will be using Office products such as Word and Publisher, Photoshop Elements, surfing teh interwebs, etc. Maybe eventually I will install Dreamweaver...I'd like something capable of decent speed and a lot of hard drive space. Can y'all suggest components?

Have a big lovely flat panel monitor already...will be purchasing a wide-format printer, but that will be an additional purchase to the money I've budgeted. Will have to buy Windows and Office Pro...

I am not sure how much space you need...
Probably 10MB for a song/ Photo? 250GB for that?

I didn't allow money for office... You can try openoffice for free
