1st time trying to oc, windows wont boot

well i took my computer to a nearby computer store -microcenter to get repaired. The tech man there said i fried my motherboard and untill i replaced the motherboard he couldnt tell whether or not my cpu was ok. I asked if i could get a call whenever they started working on my computer so i could see how they overclock it (i asked after they repair it to properly overclock it).
The guy there says he doesnt like overclocking so hes giving it to "a young guy" cuz he plays games and stuff. the guy said he thinks its a better idea to jus buy a better cpu than to overclock a worst one. He also said he can keep all my data on my hard drives only if i replace the fried mobo with the exact same one (lanparty ultra-the one in the blue box).
this is me cpu, mobo, and video card:

i found some pictures (http://www.neoseeker.com/Articles/Hardware/Reviews/dfinf4ultralp/4.html)of the bios on my mobo and the values i fooled around with that led to the appearent frying of my mobo
i changed around the voltages and stuff here (i clearly remember increasing the ldt voltage control, chipset voltage control, and the dram voltage control). can you guys maybe tell me what i did wrong and what i should have done to overclock it correctly?
thanks!

most likely you couldn't. Not with that BIOS. Not all of them allow you too. If you bought it all put together like at a store then they usually don't let you. And if you do, even if you don't kill the thing, you still just voided the warranty and you cant send it back. I think if you could do it in a BIOS like yours you would have sound it. I really think that you can not do it with your BIOS. I couldn't with my old computer, and i used CPUCool. Its free if you like having to do it every start up, buy it and you wont have to, but I only did it when i needed to. But yeah, don't do what you did again. Mistakes are for learning from. Seriously, don't take another chance like that, not until you know what your doing. That's what this place is for; help. We all make mistake, but we come here to figure out how to do it before hand, and to get advice. My only suggestion is use CPUCool. Software is often the safest and best way to do overclocking.
