1TB hard drive only showing 145GB

not a clue why or how to fix it, any help would be appreciated. if you need to know any extra info then please just ask

What operating system? Is windows installed? Did you partition the balance of the drive? A lot of info missing here. Where are you coming up with 145gb? Is this an older computer?

it doesn't matter any more i was a massive plank and didn't think in the brief hour my dad had the drive he would have partitioned it to be that small. sorry for any inconvenience but thanks for the quick response anyway.
