2.5 to 3.5 Inch HDD SSD Mounting Bracket

My current hard drive is a Seagate Barracuda 7500.12 (250GB) and I want to upgrade to an SSD (500gb or 1TB) but as the SSDs are 2.5 inches I will need a mounting bracket adaptor. However, the adaptive mounting brackets I've seen are all 2.5 to 3.5inch and my current HD is approximately 4" in width. I haven't seen any 2.5 to 4inch mounting brackets.

SSDs weigh almost nothing so I personally don't even bother with an adapter. Depending on the physical mounting of the drive I'm replacing, I've done things like use the side screw holes to mount the drive to the side of the drive cage, used tie-wraps to secure an SSD, used velcro or in at least one case, just left the SSD hanging from the cables. All have worked fine.

@oshoshitzu - Our little dog looks very much like the dog in your picture, she's a Malshi which is a cross between a Maltese and a Shitzu.

What case do you have? Most of them have 2.5" bays or options for mounting either 2.5 and 3.5" drives in the same bay.
