I have a vapor-x 5770 and am planning on getting another one and I'm just curious to see what they compare to in crossfire mode. Thanks

5770 crossfire I would say would be in between a 5850 and a 5870; With nVidia cards that would be about GTX470

yes dual 5770's are better than a 5850, but not quite as powerful as a 5870. Rather than get a second, I would recomend getting a single 5850, would be better for upgradeability, use less power, less space, produce less heat, and there will be less potential issues occur

Thanks guys, but i don't really have the extra cash so I figured I'd just get another 5770 since I already have one.

You can sell your current 5770 to get extra money ;)

I don't know what prices are like where you are, but here, used 5770's go for ~£100, new ones for £120, so that gives you £220, which is enough for a 5850, or even better because of the price (About £160) a GTX460

Sorry, I didn't mention I would be purchasing a new motherboard that has 2 pci x 16 slots and supports crossfire.
