Ok so i go to my system specs page and i see that I have 4GB of ram installed, but it says only 2.75GB of it is available. Does anyone know why this is? I have onboard graphics running right now but only 256MB is reserved for it. When my GPU comes in is there a way to turn off my onboard graphics and get this card back?

With running 32bit windows, it all depends on your hardware as far as how much actual memory you will see. If you install a 64bit version of windows then you will see all 4gb of memory. Provding your motherboard supports all that of course.

Technically the limit is 4GB, but things reserve memory. Video card, other devices etc. You can try enabling PAE, which is a 36-bit extension to windows.

Thanks for all of the help. I am going to try the PAE thing because i am not sure if i can "Upgrade" to 64-bit without loosing all of my data.

If you want to move to 64-bit you will need to backup your important data prior, and then do a clean install of the 64-bit version. Most of your programs should work once you install them again, or if they are on a separate hard drive, if the drive letter is the same they will work just fine. Windows has something called WOW64 which basically allows both 64 and 32 bit programs to run.
