2 Exact Same Ext Hard Drives - Only 1 Reading

I have two external hard drives hooked up to my machine, both 1GB WD MyBooks. It seems that because they have the same device name (WD 10EAVS External USB Device) it is only interpreted as the first one plugged in? So whichever is plugged in second does not show up.

In device manager the one not showing up is listed as offline with no volumes.

One side piece that I don't think would matter but I am using Win7 RC1.

Any help with this would be great thanks!

Are you sure they aren't 1tb drives? 1gb is awfully small these days. Look in disk management to see if the one just needs to be partitioned and formatted.

Haha yeah i meant 1tb. I was looking in the device manager but missed looking in disk management and just had to set it to be "online"
