2 fans and a cpu fan

Hello,

The case I bought came with a fan that uses a 3-prong, and my motherboard uses a 4-prong. Luckily, I bought two extra case fans and they are compatible with my power supply. That means I can only use two fans for now. What are the two best places to put them?

Thanks,
Alex

The 3 prong connector will still fit on the 4 prong header on the motherboard. It's done all the time.

so which way should the fans be facing? i'd think they should all be facing inward so they can cool the system? but what about the exhaust?

Front fan in front of hdd's should be facing in so it blows cooler air inside over the hdd. Rear fan should be pointing out so it pulls hot air out of case. Are you putting fans anywhere else?
