I had a computer that windows xp pro got corrupted, the startup file did. So what I am doing is pulling that hard drive out of the computer with problems and installing it on a computer with xp home that works well. I’m going to take the data off the shit hard drive put it on this computer to reinstall windows. But I have a problem it won’t let me go to the windows xp home it has 2 options one is blank and the other is xp pro. I don’t know why it wont let me get to the good xp home. Any body knows how to bypass the other hard drive and boot to the good one so I can pull the data off it. Thanks

change the jumper settings on the harddrive to make the one with xp home the master and the one with xp pro the slave.
Or change the order in the BIOS, or edit the Boot.ini file on the XP Pro OS
