2 laptops one router..1 working,1 not!

hi, i ve got 2 laptops the first is a hp pavillion zd8000 and connects to my sky netgear router no problem, the second is the fujitsu amilo d1845 which im having trouble connecting, the sky router shows up in the network list and when i click connect it asks me for my network key (WPA) after entering this it says its connecting for about 30 seconds then nothing happens its just back to the list again where i can hit connect again? is this a compatibility problem? should i buy a new wireless card?

forgot to say that it works fine when connected to the router with an ethernet cable. just not wireless although it shows in my network list.

thanks for the reply but i think ive just sorted it, i found something in the tray called odysey client? opened that and found a scan button it picked up my router and opened another box to enter the network name and network key and that connected me to t'internet. not quite sure if ill have to go through that palava every time tho?
