1) Current system is a P4 - Windows XP sp3 - 32 bit. I want to play around with Windows 7 that I Downloaded - But I don't want to reinstall windows XP again if my dated hardware doesn't take to the O/S very well - and wipe my HD out.
2) I'm going to be picking up a new HDD - Can I remove my current drive and install the new one in it's spot and install Win 7 to toy around with. And if Windows 7 doesn't take - I can simply remove and put the original drive with Windows XP still installed - back in - and the system will be same as before I swapped the drives out?
I'm thinkin Yes - but wanted to confirm it first.
