2 pins on gfx card

Okay ive got a heavily overclocked PNY 8500GT 512mb with a zalman hsf and ive noticed that there are two pins sticking out at the top as if for a 2 pin power connector. Is this the old gfx card power connector? like the six pin and 8 pins you get now, if so can i get a four pin to 2 pin adapter? and what difference will this power make?
 
Actually I believe that what you are talking about is an auxiliary power 2 pin plug for an after market cooling solution. If not i really doubt that hooking something up there would make a difference. Had your GFX card lacked powered I'm sure you would've had at least 1 crash by now.
