2 Problems! (which YOU can help probably!)

Some noobish problems here, but anyway :

I can't seem to get rid of the day down in my start bar - and it causes all my button icons to be poorly enlarged, see below:

Also, I have a ton of programs loading up on startup that drive me no end? Where is the option to enable / disable load on start up for programs (I know there is one in the program, but there is on in cPanel SOMEWHERE!)

Start => Run, type msconfig, then the Startup tab. :)
 
Oh I love it, (I must say "Saturday" is a bit long when you could have "Sat") in fact for windows 98 I have Tclockex a "Taskbar Clock Enhancement" freeware program from, Strange my clock has been set up same format just like his one in the picture. I have have had it going many years now since it first appeared on a magazine CDROM..
