I was trying to connect two of my lynksis routers together, (one in basement one on middle floors, so wireless works everywhere, I'm doing this by just getting the router that is connected to the internet and getting an Ethernet cord going to the other one, but when it is connected, it says its working, but I only get about 11mbs, so its not... can I do this?? Thanks.

Well, I think you should try putting them far apart? Its might be becuase when there are 2 routers, the invisible signal might hit each other confusing the connection.(It's like DirecTV, It sucks when it rains:|)

well for setting up multiple routers you need to make sure one is primary and is DHCP server and the rest just act as repeaters. Also, physically change the IP address of each router, ie 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.2, etc

use same ssid and then bump the channel up 2 channels to decrease interference
