2 Simple Questions About Motherboards(help)

I've been looking around at Newegg and TigerDirect and all im finding is motherboards for Athlon 64's and none for XP's. When i do come across a motherboard for Xp's its really cheap like $60. This worries me, i don't want to get a cheap motherboard.
 
Search for socket 462 or socket A(same thing) They are cheap now because they really aren't made anymore. Everything's gone to 754(which is about gone) and 939(which apparently is going soon...)
