hey guys, this might be a weird question, or it might not. i have 2 wd 320gb sata II drives that i want to set up in a raid 0 array. i also want to run a dual boot system, using xp pro and vista home premium.
if i stripe these 2 drives, and then make 2 partitions on it (one for each os), am i doing anything? i mean, i'm making the system think it's 1 drive, but then i'm splitting it into 2 again. will i still see the performance increase, or will it cancel it out?
i don't feel like doing all that work to find out it was for nothing, but i will do it if i still get the benefits a raid 0 array offers.
