im currently in the process of building one computer and upgrading my current computer, i got 2 new sticks of 512mb pc3000 and i have 2 sticks of 512 pc2700 already. I was originally planning to keep 1.5 gig for my self and 512 for the other computer im building. Im wondering if tis worth it to add the pc2700 to the 2 pc3000. I have been told(correct me if im wrong) that it would clock all of it down to pc2700, so would that be worth it? i am a heavy graphic designer(rendering in c4d and what not) and play some pretty graphically intense games as well if that is a factor. As you can tell im not extremely knowledgable on how this stuff works exactly so any help would be appreciated.

Yes the PC3200 would downclock to PC2700 speeds. 1GB of RAM is probably enough but PC3200 vs PC2700 isn't too much of a speed hit so if you want 1.5GB then go for it :)
