Hi,

I recently purchased 2 x Kingston 256Mb SD RAM PC133, and installed them.
On boot up they are showing as 2 x 128Mb of Ram, I ran Windows diagnostics and this shows the same, Is this machine only capable of taking 2 x 128Mb Ram in each slot. Please help.

Many Thanks

Try installing one at a time, see if installing only one will correct the problem, if it does then install the other one.

What motherboard do you have? If you don't know what is the model of your computer and who makes it?

Unless I'm reading this wrong your chipset (i82810E2) supports 2, 4, 8, and 16 x 64 which caps out at 128MB.
