Hey guys, I MIGHT, might, be able to get an LCD monitor for my birthday. It will be used for gaming, thought not heavy gaming. I'm looking into the 19" range. My budget is $200, give or take a little if it's really worth it. Any suggestions for good budget LCD's? Thanks.

Hanns G has been making very good products recently, high reviews on others like this monitor.

These two are kinda awesome

This one looks really good,19" wide screen with 4ms at the 200 dollar mark, not very sure about the quality because i have no clue what company this is.

Thanks for the reply, I don't know if I want a widescreen one, as it'll be kinda flat as in height. The Hyundai one seems pretty nice, but it only has analog input, would that be bad?

Update...I can get it! Wohooo, this is pretty sweet. Do you guys have any inputs when it comes to widescreen 19" or normal 19"?

Hm, i was wondering if the widescreen is kinda awkward, cause it's kinda compressed down, not much taller than my 17" CRT in resolution.

Ok guys, I've decided to go wide screen. So here are some of my canidates..

Acer 19" wide 5ms response ($190)

Hyundai 19" wide 8ms response ($200) (though according to multiple reviews on newegg, and dimensions, the monitor's viewable area is ALOT bigger)

Fujiplus 19" wide 5ms response ($200)

Now I really like the idea of the Hyundai one, how it is massive (i took out the measureing tape and did some comparisons, it absolutely dwarfs my 17" CRT! Almost twice as tall!"). However, the contrast ratio is 500:1, unlike the acer and fuji's 700:1.

Can anyone give me some feedback to those monitors? If the Hyundai one is alright, I will try my hardest to pursuade my parents to let me get that one (my money, their call =\)

lol for one second I thought you wanted me to buy a $8 LCD...then I realized you meant "by $8" :P. Anyways, I'm already pushing it at $200 (my parents are like, "hey, what about that $99 one!)...which btw was 14" 25ms response. I'd be lucky to persuade them to let me get anything near $200. I still really like the Hyundi one. I'll update you guys on my progress of persuasion :D
