I am trying to install win 2000 on a dual boot with xp pro but because it is an older version it disables setup . i tried removing ntdetect and ntldr from xp and booting 2000 from the cd but it wont boot. it is not a problem with the cd because xp boots from cd so i can only assume it is the way that i have burned the 2000 files on the disk (i copied from friends install disk just so i could be familiar using it because i am studying networking and am likely to be using it). so does anyone have any ideas.
