K my screen on my iPod broke so i decided to take it apart and use the 20GB HDD for my comp., now it does have port, it look like it stick thin needles into it, so what kind of cord thing do i need to hook it to my PC? and do they sell them anywhere?
it is a lot of work to hack at that. you basically will have to get an adapter that can be modified to fit, or individually tap into the plugs to see which is which. to keep it short, take a look here: http://www.command-tab.com/2005/03/13/ipod-super/
I guess that will help me, but i wanted to put the drive into my PC so it be like another "local disk" in "My Computer". Do i need the case of the iPod to work it?
my friends brother dropped it from a second floor balcony and it shattered open
the connector kind look like an IDE connector with 2 rows of pins and a piece that plugs in. but i dunno if they have adpaters for such thing since its not a normal use for a IPOD
Ok i think i gave the wrong idea to you people, here is what i ment to say.
I took out the hard drive out of my broken ipod. The ipod's screen is broken, but the hard drive is fine.
So now I want to use this ipod's hard drive for my computer. Is there an adapter/cable/whatever that I can use to hook up the ipod's hard drive to my computer?
