21 Wide Screen Dell Gaming LCD screen question

i can get this for 300$ from a friend and my work "dairy Queen".
its the gaming version and seems to have good specs from the dellwebsite.

he says it has no dead pixels and has only been used for a couple of weeks.

he upgraded to something else like 2 24inch wide screens or something.
He said he would put a 5 month garentee working and its a couple hundred dollars off

should i get it?
i game alot "that is what my computer is for mainly"

i think you mean 20.1 inch widescreen. i have one and it works great for gaming especially for counterstrike. i got mine on ebay and the monitor has no dead pixels.

Only thing about that is, some games dont support widescreen resolutions, leading to stretchy pictures; just like the problemwith widescreen television.

ya but its worth it to get widescreen if most of the games you have support widescreen even if some dont.

Most games do have support for widescreen, GTA3 has it, CoD2 has it etc.

this monitor also has picture in picture!, so once i get my new card i'll be able to watch TV in once image and game on the other!!!
