$210 to add on RAM

Alright guys i have $210 to buy some Ram i currently only have 1 gig of whats in my sig (i took out 1 defective stick) and now i need to know if it would be better to buy 1 more gig of that same ram and put in ddr2 or get a lower speed 2gig in ddr2 and i would also have 3 gigs all together. please post links and suggestions

Most RAM has a lifetime warranty. You may not be able to get a refund, but you should be able to get a new stick... Besides, loosing dual channel mode would hurt you more in the long run.
