Was it a monitor or a TV. I'm guessing it's a TV, but have you compared it to a monitor running an Xbox 360 as well?

The main thing I need right now is a new monitor, and since the ChiMei 22" will work with a 360 if I want one in the future, and it looks like a good monitor, that's the one I'll get. Someone posted a question about the ChiMei and a 360 the thread below this or something having problems with it.
 
From my experience HD stuff doesn't look as good as it does on a monitor as on a TV. I think because the pixels are much smaller, and you don't see the details like you do on a large TV. It still looks pretty nice though.
 
So I talked my parents into loaning me $200 until I get a job in the summer, so I'm pretty sure I'm getting the ChiMei.
Just to double check, does anyone see anything wrong with getting it, or are there any better ones I can get for that money?
 
Ask fortyways, he has strong opinions on monitors. If he likes it then I would definitely get it. Otherwise I don't know how good of a deal it is, i don't know what that brand is like.

Personally, I wouldn't run a console on a PC monitor. However, get the LG if you don't own a HDTV. They're among the best, and, thatguy16 knows his shit. ;)

Thats a freakin' steal! I'm still surprised that of all places, its best buy that has the deal. :P

EDIT: That monitor is $370 everywere else i look :eek:
