23"lcd or 21.5"led

hey Im buying a new monitor on friday and I cant decide I have $200 and I am looking at either a 23" LG LCD or a 21.5" AOC LED. so should I go for size or class? is there any differance in picture quality between lcd and led?
 
i dont think that it will be a true LED monitor, it will use LEDs to light up the lcd screen...

true LED monitors/tvs cost a fortune.
