Well simply the fact that the gts450 has 100 more CUDA cores, you can google some benchmarks.

also take into account that the memory bandwidth is higher on the 450 ( i think) and that it is fermi instead of g92 (i think). A 250 is behind a 450, so that would indicate a 240 is behind a 450 too.

I just want a 450 to beat it to the gound, there are other things I could buy for the price.I cant get a 6770 for the price of a 450, bigfella, and I perfer nvidia.

Well get this gts450, its the best for the price. DDR5 memory. Looks good, and runs cool. Never gets above 65c when gaming in my mini tower.

The GTS250 is barely behind the 450 and they can be had on ebay pretty dang cheap.

I may be mistaken, but the 200 series is more more hungry than the 400 series.
