Read a great guide on overclock.net for Z77/ASRock overclocking and I'm following that for the most part.

How does 4.6GHz at 1.288/1.280v sound? LLC is level 5 (most droop) and offset voltage is at -0.025v (from memory) - it failed at the same settings but -0.030v offset voltage (101 bsod) - so far so good with -0.025v.

RAM at bog standard 1600MHz/CAS9/2T.

Using IBT to test (maximum stress, 8GB RAM), temps not exceeding 72c on the cores and 76c on "package" - too high? What's the max for the CPU? How about voltage? Could I push this chip further and stay within voltage/temperature limits?

72° is not really low. I would say that from 75° the cpu can be damaged.
Whats your cooler? Because I would stay below 70...

Just re-did the thermal paste (just in case) so I'll see how that goes. Only did it because one core was at least 10c cooler than all of the others.

EDIT: Core 0 is still 5-6c cooler than all the rest, just going to wait for the paste to burn in now...

72c is just fine for it. You're not gonna get any lower with that high of an overclock and that cooler.

98c is danger. Just have your auto shutdown on 85c-90c.

my pc gives a warning when I go over the 70° :D.
But I still think over 75° is to much...

hmm, amd cpu's are generally warmer then intel cpu's...

lol, totally opposite of what you just said in my experience.

Anyway, did 5 runs on max in IBT and it passed. How's 120gflops sound? Been gaming all day, not crashed once, temps are under control, I'm going to assume it's stable.

4.5GHz, 1.272-1.288v

I have got my i5 at 4.8ghz on a basic coolermaster vertex cooler. Stable as could be with temps only around 52ç ofcourse every chip acts differently to overclocking sounds like you need some more air movement in there

52 idle?
What's the load temperature?.
