Hey guys,
this drive:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820250003
is going on sale today at 10 am(pst) for $199.

Seems too good to be true right? I know it's towards the bottom of the pack as far as SSDs go, but I was wondering what you guys thought?

I mean I could spend 200 on a faster SataIII drive with half( or less) of the memory, but I've heard that most motherboards with 6gb ports don't really support that speed anyway.

So I guess the question is if a slower ssd is worth not having to worry about separating programs and files between two drives. What do you guys think, and has anyone heard anything about these drives. Newegg doesn't have any reviews, I suppose because the retail price is around 500 and no one wants to pay that.

Seems like an awesome deal, in fact I think I might get one if it's real. How do you know it's going on sale though? I don't see how they could sell it at that price, I haven't seen any 200GB+ SSDs for less than $300...

I've found nothing but positive reviews for this, I'm going for it. Thanks for the find.

EDIT: WTF, SOLD OUT!?!?!?!

I hate it when greedy douchebags ruin it for the rest of us who need replacement parts badly. I hope they go broke.

Yeah, I saw this deal on Fat Wallet too and some guys were ordering three (the max amount). I bet most of them got bought up just to be resold for profit. :(
