256MB nVidia™ GeForce 8600GT graphics card

My 7600gt (8600gt comparable) can play Bioshock maxed out at a 11x868 res with 15-30 Fps, mostly around 20-25. So yeah, it's pretty good for this generation of games, but the next is where it will probably falter. Lowered setting to medium and such. If you don't play with DX10 enabled then you'll see even more performance. (dunno if you can do that, Maybe you'd have to force-change the format in the INI. file.)

i noly really want it for the dx9 games as i got a 360 for higher graphics ones but if i do need a new graphics card later on ill just buy a new one,

Woah, what's that? Super, super widescreen?:P

Nope, normal 4:3 aspect ratio, or at least so close I cant tell the difference. :P

Edit: I get what you mean now, I put the 11 there cause I couldn't remember the last two digits.

get the one from XFX. It overclocks like a beast to 711/915 which gives me a score of 6000 on 3dmark06 paired with AMD X2 6000+. That is the range of 8600gts.
