28" vs. 30" Monitor

Would you guys recommend a 28" or a 30" monitor? I know the 28" has a 3ms response time, and a 1900x1600 ratio or whatever, and a 30" monitor has a 6ms and upwards response time, and a ratio of 2500xwhatever, heh, but does the 30"'s ratio look that much better than the 28"'s? I would also use it for my TV, and HDMI inputs are necessary for my Xbox. Would the 28" or 30" be better for high-res gaming, HD Tv, and HD Xbox?

Is the 30"'s price justifiable?

Make sure your video card(s) will support either screen. With LCD's you have to run them at native resolution to achieve best quality.

Omega has the 28" hanns g and said he likes it alot .That is probably what I will get once I build a new machine.

if you have the cash to blow get the 30" screen, i would recommend the gateway 30" if your going to get one(it has multiple inputs) otherwise the 28" hanns g is probably the best priced, and off topic here, but i would like that moniter a lot too if it won me 5 grand :P

Thanks guys. I think I'll probably end up getting the 28" Hanns-G, or something close to it. I'd like a 30", but I don't have money to blow on that :P

Okay, so now that you all have convinced me on the 28" vs. the 30", which of these three would you recommend?

I have them all compared on one screen from Newegg.

Keep in mind that I want to use this for and HDTV for watching TV, playing Xbox in HD, and for computer gaming.

Would I be able to do all of that with these monitors?

Thanks again.

Why not get an HDTV? Most have VGA or DVI inputs, and come at a lower price than a PC monitor of the same size, atleast when you're over 25in.
