2GB DDR400 or 1GB DDR600?

Well, if you have the money now, just get the 2gb I guess. It'll just open up the doors for future memory intensive games, which I am sure will come out.
 
i suggest the 2gb. ddr600 is fast... but its unnecessary.
ram frequency isn't THAT important... haha size matters more lol wow
 
well, i have 2gb ring now at DDR333 because the mobo doesnt support DDR400 with 4 sticks of double sided sticks, and it runs a hell of alot slower then when i had a gig of DDR400 at DDR440
 
If you expect to have enough money in a week or so for another GB of memory, then get the DDR-600.

But if i were you, i would go with 2GB (2x 1GB) G.Skill DDR500 memory for ~$160.
 
but i say get the 2 gigs because yes it is ddr600 but 2 gigs is double of 1 and 600 isnt double 400 so its sounds kinda stupid but its true
