2nd internet connection setup

hello, im trying to set up an internet connection to another computer in my house i have one downstairs and would like one up stairs. I understand i can use a wireless system to set this up, ive also been told its quite tricky to set up. If anyone has any suggestiond to which system is best to buy for a reasonable price and also if anyone has any tips or a guide to show me how to install it that would be great. Cheers
 
why would u not go wireless and put all comps on one network? it would be cheaper this way im pretty sure.

this would be what u plug ur internet cable/dsl into (this is called the router):

the adapter that is plugged into your computer through the usb picks up the internet signal from the router. the router should be in a central location compared to all the computers so all the computers can get a good signal.
 
yeah...because its a lot cheaper..and you dont have to use two ISP's...i'd just do the networking and then your set to go
