2t ram..oh no! (i think??)

Well I just bought a new computer, and its [unfortunately] a dell. I love the computer and everything, but is it true that the dell bios wont allow for ram to run in 2t? Also...where can I even go to find out what timing its in?

Lastly, would I even notice that much of a difference between 1t and 2t?

I have 2 gigs of ram (2 dimms 667mhz dual channel)

It's not a real big difference going to 1T, it's a lot like CAS latency, the command rate is applied to every access so reducing CAS and command rate makes everything faster.

Dell's BIOS wont let you see the timings, you'll have to use CPUz or other utility.
