2x 6800 GT`s or 7800GTX ?

have a look at my setup, i want to up the graphics a bit...
what u guys recon, buy another 6800GT for SLi or sell my 6800GT and buy a 7800GTX ?

Well if you can sell the 6800GT and get a 7800GTX then by all means go for it ... the single 7800GTX will often if not always outperform the SLI configuration :)
 
AND if you choose to upgrade later on, you can just buy another 7800GTX and have the most powerful graphics processing on the market! Non-professional, of course.
 
Unlikely... either way the 7800GTX is your choice... if you want later add another one to your SLI. The job of the 7800GT!X! is the best option, 1 alone outdoes basically anything you throw at it.
 
3DMark05 is not the end all be all for video card performance. What does good in benchmarks, can suck in real gaming. As stated earlier, SLi can be very picky with some games, and often loses to single card setup's of a slightly higher calibur.

7800GTX if you can manage it. Plus if it doesnt beat out the 2 6800 Ultras, you can always buy another later which will completey whipe out the 2 6800 ultras

no but even when i was running at stock speeds i got 9465 and when i OC'd i got 10000+

:D (just so you know ... 3dmark isnt a game)
 
Futuremarks tests are often inaccurate when it comes to reflect 'real world' gaming performance, it's just a number. Can be good when oc though to check stability and to look out for artifacts.
