Looks expensive!!

Since your spending top dollar, drop the 850evo and get an NVME pcie m.2 ssd like a 960EVO.. that will decimate the 850evo

ohh.. and you need an operating system? windows 10 64-bit perhaps?

I thought about the 960 evo but I valued the extra storage of the 850 instead.

Another vote for the 960 EVO. You're talking about 500MB/s vs 3200MB/s between the 850 and 960 EVO.

Also, I'd bump the RAM up to DDR4-2800 at least. It shouldn't be much more money. Also, to be fair usually the monitor and expensive accessories aren't included in the build price, so when you say $3k build it's more like a $2,300 build.

Any plans to SLI moving forward? For future expandability it might be worth spending an extra dozen bucks on a 750w+ PSU.
