3.5" slots?

what other kinda hardware can u put in these slots other than the floppy drive? alot of cases come with like 6 of them, but i only know of one use, lol.

A fan could probally be mounted in one.
 
okay, anymore...i still can't see why they need more 3.5" than 5.25"

so virtually just for fans? well, i guess thats reason enough

External bays, there's no reason. Internal 3.5" bays are great for hard drives :p And don't forget about some of these full height drives that basically take up two bays.
