3 antivirus install

is it possible to have them install on one machine but only one running always on and the others off and only scan if i want to since some of them detect stuff the others can't
 
You can have as many as you like installed on your machine, as long as you only have one for real-time scanning. You should get an option during installation to enable or disable real-time scans.
 
when i had norton installed and tried installing panda it asked me to uninstall norton i ignore it and then after installing panda pc does not respond. had to go safe mode and uninstall, system restore and panda's gone LOL

i think(dont hold me to it)..upon installation.. panda wants all other antivirus programs removed but itself.. i had norton.. changed to panda.. asked to remove panda.. had panda titanium..changed to platinum.. same..
