3 computers? Power? Safe?

Hello, I currently has 2 pcs set up in my room, each one has a wall socket split into 4 single sockets. Like this:

I now want to put 3 computers there however theres only 2 wall sockets. So I was thinking of buying a bigger surge protector which splits into 8.

Would this be ok to run 2 computers off? Would it be safe? Would the computer be safe?

it should. i have a upc with 6 ports and i have on there right now, 3 computers, a oscilope and a light. no fire yet :D
 
It will be ok.
You should be more concerned with the circuit breaker/fuse feeding the room that you are putting the computers in.
 
You should be fine if I am running:

1x LCD
3x CRT
3x 600W PSU
1x 480W
1x Wireless Phone
1x 250W
1x 2.1 Multimedia Speakers w/ Subwoofer at max XD
1x Inkjet Printer
1x Laser printer
1x DSL
1x Linksys Router

All connected to one outlet (not 2 :D)
 
lol yea i just got a surge protector but when i move back in for school in a week i'll have my corsair 520, my 22" LCD, my reciever and 12" sub off it... plus probs a tv
