3-Year-Old Macbook Pro

Hello,

I am looking to buy a computer for college, and somebody is offering a macbook pro bought in February 2008 for $750 on Craigslist. He told me that the battery has been replaced once and that "everything works."
The specs are:

-2.6 GHz
-4 GB RAM
-200GB HD
-Good condition.
-15" screen, anti-glare, no bad pixels.
-Battery holds a charge for about 2 hours.
-Has Office 2011, iLife 2011 and Adobe CS3 installed (a huge plus for me!).

Is this a good deal, or one I should avoid?
Thanks,
Nepfreak

That's a fair price if everything is in good shape. Battery life isn't optimal though so you might talk him down a bit.

If it's the model with the 8600gt video card I'd be leery about it. Those graphics chips tend to fail in these laptops. My friends just did after 3 or 4 years of use.
